Terms of service

Thank you for trusting our farm.  We want every experience with our farm to be a good one!  We guarantee your purchases from our farm will arrive in excellent condition as we do our best to ensure you are receiving the best quality products.

You are purchasing a live dahlia tuber.  All orders are pre-orders for the upcoming dahlia season.  As our pre-sale is in January and you are charged accordingly, you agree to receive your product when shipping is appropriate for your growing region.  All orders begin shipping in late March (South and West Coast) through the first week of May (the most Northern and Northeastern states.)  We do not give refunds because you want your order shipped earlier than we determine is the best shipping time.  By purchasing, you agree to these purchasing/shipping policies.

Once your order is placed, we do not accept requests for cancelation. It is both costly and time consuming to cancel and refund orders.  Please only purchase what you are willing to pay for and accept delivery on, as you will be agreeing to this policy at checkout.  If we need to cancel your order due to using a shipping discount code you know you shouldn't use or because you purchased over the allowed limit for a specific item, there will be a 20% restocking fee.  This policy is not negotiable.

Upon receipt of your tuber order, please immediately inspect your shipment and contact us via email at: luckypennyflowerfarm@gmail.com within 3 days of your order arriving if you have any concerns.  We do not offer a refund after 3 days for any reason and reserve the right to refund or credit your account for agreed upon returns.

Upon receipt of your rooted cutting order, please immediately inspect and remove your cuttings from the box and enclosed packaging.  Contact us via email at:  luckypennyflowerfarm@gmail.com within 24 hours of your order arriving if you have any concerns.  We are unable to offer a refund after 24 hours.

Please reach out to us with questions:  Cuttings should be removed from packaging, checked for sufficient water in the root cube and left to rest for a few hours/overnight in a dim lit, slightly humid area.  If the cuttings are wet from humidity after arriving, give the leaves time to air dry before putting into a humid environment.  Pot up in a good quality, moist potting soil.  Harden off a few days before placing in the final location.

Dahlia tubers and live cuttings will not survive if left in an unopened box.  All orders are tracked and we are notified of delivery.  Please understand, we cannot be held responsible for improper handling after you receive your shipment due to weather, growing conditions, damage from pests and failure to thrive in anyway, including unboxing in a timely manner.  We do our due diligence and cull any plants that show signs of disease.  Additionally, we spot test our fields for the major dahlia viruses.  With that being said, there are no guarantees regarding virus and disease after you take possession of the tuber or rooted cutting.

We are licensed and inspected by the Delaware State Department of Agriculture.
