Where is my order?

We have decided to stop shipping!  We know this is frustrating, but between the length of time the cuttings have taken to grow out and root and the heat, it's not realistic to continue shipping.  We are sorry for the late notice.  Our intent was to get everything out to everyone that ordered.  We shipped hundreds of orders out this past month, but it wasn't enough, and for that, we are sorry.  

WE ARE OFFERING 2 OPTIONS FOR CANCELED ORDERS.  

OPTION A: A full refund. (read below to respond to this option)

OPTION B:  A credit for this order towards 2025 season tubers AND early access to our 2025 tuber sale with 20% off your total initial order.  Because we stopped shipping our cutting, we are planting an enormous amount of KA's and the other hard to get varieties.  We also have a majority of the new KA 2024 introduction in a good quantity, including Cinder Rose.  These varieties will all be available with early access.  This will only be available to those customers who weren't able to get this years orders and choose this option.  So it's not a lot of people, and you will have the ease of shopping all of our 2025 inventory without the craziness.  These will be tubers, not cuttings.  

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:

Please include the following information so we get this right for you...

Option A - Your name, address and order #  and we will refund your order via mail with a check OR EMAIL US YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT NAME.  We switched store platforms (read more below if you choose) this spring and all of our cutting orders were secured on that platform, so we cannot refund your orders to the original form of payment.  We apologize for this inconvenience. 

Option B - Your name and original order #.  You will receive a followup email in June with specific credit information and confirmation of inclusion in our spring 2025 pre-sale for chaos free shopping.

We sincerely thank you for your order and your patience.  We know how much you look forward to these new varieties in your gardens and fields and we want to make sure you get what you're looking for.  Our presale will only be open to those who have a store credit with Lucky Penny Flower Farm.  The code you receive will only be good for one order at either our presale or regular sale, sharing it with anyone will void our arrangement with you. 

JUST FOR, "WHAT HAPPENED?" CLARIFICATION...

We switched web platforms between our cutting sale and tuber sales because our old system wasn't capable of handling the volume we do.  That should have been all positive, but we had to keep the old site up to fulfill the cutting orders even though our aggrement ended with the other platform.  If you ordered from us, but didn't subscribe, you probably haven't been getting our email updates.  The old site wouldn't send mass emails to non-subscribers even if they were customers.  We apologize for this issue.  We were not aware of this until this past week.  Also, many people use ShopPay or PayPal and if you did, and you signed up for that service with a different email, our old site sent all correspondenses to that email address.  Again, we only recently found that out.  Last name changes caused those issue too, because we could only search orders by the last name on the credit card, not the name you signed in with.  In any case, this brings us to refunds.  If you are due a refund you will be mailed a paper check.  The old system won't allow us to just go in an issue a refund,  and we need to do this in a way that gets everyone their refunds without chaos.  So you will be mailed a refund if you chose Option A unless you provide your PayPal account information.

Shipping

How will my order be shipped? 

We ship orders via USPS Priority Mail.  Most orders will arrive within 3 days of shipping.  All orders are tracked and our farm is notified when your package has been delivered.

Where do you ship? 

We ship to any US location, including Hawaii and Alaska.  At this time we do not ship internationally.

Can I pick my order up at the farm? 

The short answer is yes.  We live on our farm; it's our home.  For that reason, farm pickup after a sale will have set pickup dates and times.  We cannot accommodate alternate times. 

All online sale will include shipping and there is a space for you to choose farm pickup.  If your order is picked up on our scheduled pickup day, you will be refunded shipping at that time.  Otherwise, we will ship your order the day after the missed pickup date.

Can I change my order?

Once an order is placed, we cannot make changes to your order due to the volume of orders we receive.  

Can I combine orders?

At this time, we do not combine orders.  We are a small farm, and the volume of orders we receive makes it impossible to combine and refund shipping charges.  We are truly sorry for the inconvenience.

Sale Dates

When is your dahlia tuber sale?

Our Dahlia Shop is currently OPEN!
We will restock our farm again in March, after orders for our initial sale have been picked.  Subscribe to our newsletter to be notified of upcoming sale dates. 

Do you have additional sales throughout the year?

Yes, we do!  If you subscribe to our email newsletter or follow us on social media (Facebook and Instagram) you'll be notified of additional tuber sales, cutting sales, seed sales or bulb sales.

 

Visiting the Farm

Where are you located?

Our farm is located in Milton, Delaware, USA

Can I visit your farm?  Are you open to the public? 

The farm is our home, so we are not open to the public.  Occasionally, we have small, on-farm events, including by-appointment only u-picks.  Follow our Instagram page @luckypennyflowerfarm and subscribe to our newsletter to see what's happening on the farm.

Can I buy flowers from your farm? 

Yes!  We have a farmstand on the road and it's stocked during the growing season.  We post daily on local-to-Milton and the surrounding area Facebook pages.

We are also at the Historic Lewes Farmer's Market on Wednesday morning from June 5th through September 4th.  The market is rain or shine and located at The Crooked Hammock Brewery on Kings Highway in Lewes.  Market hours are from 8:00am until 11:30am
